Google Chrome Tab Groups, a productivity booster

By | April 14, 2020

So Google in their last Chrome released an amazing productivity-boosting feature which allows you to group tabs together.

If you are like me you end up having quite a few tabs open as you are navigating around your web-based Software as a Service (SaaS), like Jira, Confluence, Outlook etc. you will end up with quite a few tabs open for each application and it can become quite difficult to organise tabs and find the tabs you want.

Check it out and enable it

How to enable it

  1. Go to, in chrome?s URL bar, chrome://flags/
  2. Search for ?Tab Groups?
  3. And enable it and restart
  4. Then you can create a new group. Chrome will then create a new group and then you can click on the colour dot and change the colour and group name

Happy Grouping
